Another important tip when you are in Malaysia is to be careful of pickpockets and snatch thieves. I think they exist everywhere in the world. But sad to say in Malaysia most of them are foreigners from neighbouring countries like Indonesia whom we’ve allowed to come in and work. But instead they turned to crime. They even resort to housebreaking and armed robbery where people have been killed. I myself have been a snatch thief victim a few times in spite of my precautions. Lately we’ve had some scammers from Africa who had study visas but who also turned to crime. With these people around the image of Malaysia has been tarnished.

The whole area is lovely with lots of green spaces, walking trails, and hundreds of lakes. You get the best of both worlds--all the amenities of city living along with the peace and tranquility of the country. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!

The large interest in the subject can hardly change that, unfortunately. Too much capitalism is not really helpful. ;-)
